Thanks James. I have been struggling with things for awhile. After getting your book I was abel to get up and running rather fast. I bought the officalial guide and it is really bad. I wish I would have found this manual first.

Very nice book. I scanned it and it is printing out right now.

We've been evaluating Magento for awhile and have been stymied by the
lack of docs beyond the intro stuff from Varien. Here's an onsolicited testimonial, "Your book may be the know-how breakthrough that will convince us to go to

You could name your manual "Magento - The Developers Guide". That would greatly increase it's perceived value. For me, it's actual value is very high and I would have paid $50.00 for it. Good work. (Posted on 6/24/09)
